Most people reach a point somewhere in life where they need the support of others. A good friend or family member often fits the bill, but something else is sometimes needed.

My name is Hamish Cormack. I offer the space and freedom to explore what’s going on for you in a confidential way, carefully separated and insulated from the rest of your life. You set the agenda: you can look at current or longstanding issues, difficulties, problems, goals or relationships, with a view to pure understanding, radical change, or something else.  I’m a skilled listener, with particular experience in addiction, depression, anxiety, and money issues. I’m not religious, but open to religious belief in others.

I am fully qualified with over 400 hours of client experience and four and a half years of study up to postgraduate diploma level. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, working to their standards, and of the Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy. My training background is Humanist and Integrative, which means that I will regard you as a person, not a case or a diagnosis; and that although it may not be your experience, you are the best authority on yourself. My role is to assist you in uncovering this, and in clarifying a path for yourself. My skills and experience are offered in service to that.
