Reaching out for help and finding a therapist can be a daunting experience, especially at a time of difficulty or crisis. I offer a warm, safe and understanding space where we can work together on exploring your experience, past and present, opening up awareness and understanding, and finding new ways of being to support you and help you to navigate life's many challenges.
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist-in-training - I completed my sixth and and final year of training in June 2022, and am in the process of writing my dissertation for the full qualification of MA in Integrative & Humanistic Psychotherapy.
I offer psychotherapy and counselling from central locations in both Bristol and Bath.
I have several years of experience; along with my private practice experience, I have worked as a therapist providing counselling to clients at the Carers Centre, a charity in Bath, and with clients at the NHS Nightingale Valley practice in Brislington. I have worked with clients across a broad spectrum of issues including anxiety and depression, eating disorders, relational difficulties, substance abuse, chronic illness, trauma and bereavement.
I have a particular interest in how our psychological distress manifests physically, integrating mindfulness and breathwork into my practice and incorporating body/mind work where appropriate to ease suffering and chronic pain.
