I offer Person-centred psychotherapy with individuals. I also offer CBT/REBT as part of my integration, held within the framework of my primary training in psychotherapy.
Hello. My name is Stephanie and I am a qualified and UKCP registered psychotherapist with a diploma and Masters in Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapy. My training was at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have been in private practice for ten years.
I am interested in people. In each person’s unique complexity. In you.
If you are reading this then you may already have taken the first step on your therapeutic journey; the decision to explore, and to seek the right person to share this work with you.
Whether you come to me for longer term psychotherapy, shorter term work, or for CBT/REBT, my initial aim will always be the same; to create a warm, secure, boundaried space in which we can build our therapeutic relationship. A space where you feel able to share what is on your mind.
I am interested in you as a unique individual and in your connection to the world on an emotional, physical and spiritual level and in how you may experience feelings energetically, in your body.
Whatever you bring, we can explore it together and find ways to understand and make meaning from your experiences. A step on the path, an unlocking of the potential of your own flowering as an individual.
If you like reading, music, films or paintings, I have found that working with imagery and metaphor can be a useful (and fun) part of the process. I also like working with dreams.
Over the last few years I have been working more and more with people who experience themselves as neurodivergent. I work with each person as an individual and we use this experience of neurodivergence as a ‘lens’ through which to look at experiences of the self in relation to others and the world (and also to the self), in order to search for understanding and meaning in these experiences, all held within the context of the person's unique history.
Areas of experience and interest include:
I can offer you a weekly session of fifty minutes and fees are £60 per session. Ten percent of my practice availability is offered to clients at a slightly reduced fee. Currently, all of these spaces are taken.

There are good public transport links and both on-street metred parking and a nearby NCP. On Mondays I work from home on Zoom.

My training was at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling. I qualified in March 2025 (having been in private practice for ten years) and hold a diploma and Masters in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. I am UKCP registered (number 2011164342).
In addition to my ten years in private practice, I have seen clients over two years in voluntary settings. The first was at SWAN (as part of a placement) which specialised in a non twelve step approach to addictions. The second was as a volunteer for Anxiety UK.
I also have a diploma and advanced diploma in CBT/REBT with the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies in London. This practise is integrated and held within my primary psychotherapy training.
