Individual Psychotherapy in Bristol
I’m a UKCP psychotherapist-in-training at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), offering low-cost psychotherapy to adults in Bristol. My sessions are one-to-one, 50 minutes long and in person. I currently charge £20-£25 per session.
Taking the step into therapy can be daunting and the reasons may be varied, or even hard to verbalize. I offer a welcoming, confidential and non-judgemental space to support you in that step. The first introductory session gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and from there a sense of whether we want to work together. My training is person-centered based, which means I believe that you are the expert on yourself and that change comes from within. My role is to support you, at your own pace, with that process and to explore whatever you choose to bring to the sessions. I’m also interested in how we relate to things. Whether that’s the world in general or how we relate to other people, friends and family. As well as how we relate to ourselves, which can sometimes be harsh and critical.
I’m currently in my third year of psychotherapy training and last year I held a placement at a low-cost counselling service called Bourne Family Project in Bristol where I saw a range of clients with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to grief and childhood trauma.
