I’m an experienced psychotherapist in training offering affordable psychotherapy for adults in Bristol. Whatever is going on in your life, I aim to help clients make meaning of their current difficulties and to discover a greater understanding of themselves, their lives and experiences to allow for increased self-awareness and wellbeing.
Psychotherapy offers you a safe place to spend concentrated time on yourself to explore your thoughts and feelings together with someone who will listen without judgement or an agenda. People seek out therapy for many different reasons. They might feel stuck or held back in their personal or professional relationships, they may have recently experienced a crisis in their lives, they may feel overwhelmed or may be dealing with grief, loneliness, anxiety, earlier trauma or just a general sense of unhappiness.
My hope is to offer an open minded space of warmth, respect and compassion, where anything that is on your mind at the time can be explored together at your own pace. Every client that comes to therapy is unique. As an integrative therapist I draw upon a range of models to work with each client according to their individual needs.
I believe that a strong and trusting bond between therapist and client is the foundation for positive change. The therapeutic relationship can make you more aware of unhelpful patterns in your life and may guide you to develop new ways of being. In weekly sessions I work with clients towards a deepened self-acceptance and finding out what is right for them.

I am about to enter the final stages of training at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC) pursuing an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. I receive regular supervision and work in accordance with the ethical and professional guidelines set out by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and BCPC.
As part of my training I had the privilege of working at The Swan Project, a Bristol based charity providing long term therapy to individuals struggling with an active addiction, to those in recovery or otherwise affected by addiction in the family. I have also been running a private practice for the past two years seeing clients from all walks of life.
Previous experiences also include volunteering many years for Mind providing mental health support services in Bristol.
