The Tide is Turning...

We are emerging from a culture that has pushed down and bottled up it's most painful emotions. Still today we can often feel like we need to deal with our deepest despair all on our own. This is especially true for those of us who have been conditioned by masculine ideas of stoicism and steel.

However, increasingly we are able to grasp the vitality of our interconnectedness and interdependance. That entering into the healing potential of a genuine and compassionate relationship is an invaluable and transformative action for our psychological wellbeing.

What Has Brought You Here?

Our suffering may feel rooted in external circumstances or in internal wounds and inner conflicts. It can arise from present-day challenges such as relationship breakdowns, life transitions, loss, grief, overwhelm, or burnout, or from deeply ingrained patterns shaped by past traumas that weigh us down and block our ability to experience joy and realise our fullest potential.

Whatever you need to bring to our therapeutic space, I offer a warm, creative and non-judgmental environment in which together, we can sensitively and collaboratively work with the problems you face, leading to a deeper sense of empowerment, and self-understanding.

About Me

Having transitioned to counselling from a background in music, I bring a finely tuned sensitivity to the intricate rhythms of life's creative forces, of which, we all navigate in our own unique manner. As your therapist, my aim is to guide you in discovering your own innate resourcefulness and creativity. Together, we will work to unearth and dismantle the barriers obstructing your path to a more fluid, vibrant, and genuine self-expression.

While I work with adults across all age groups, I've discovered a particular resonance for helping late adolescents (ages 18-25+) as they navigate the transitional journey into adulthood. This phase is marked by novel experiences and challenges along with awesome brain changes, and I find it deeply rewarding to support individuals through this crucial "rite of passage" period.

I am also deeply interested in mindfulness meditation and its transformative potential in cultivating self-awareness and enriching our subjective reality through an intimate connection with the present moment. I firmly believe that mindfulness stands as one of the most potent tools at our disposal for effecting positive change to entrenched patterns and ingrained modes of thought.

Counselling is a radical step that is open to you. To share, overcome or let go of the burdens of your life.
