Welcome. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space for you to discuss the things that are troubling you, whether you are facing an immediate crisis or a long term problem.
My approach is to work with you, according to your needs so that you feel listened to and heard and empowered to be yourself. Together we can explore what is going on in your life, relationships, patterns of behaviour and begin to shed light on matters.
Through our sessions I aim to help you unpick issues you are facing now, as well as exploring the deeper roots behind your concerns, that may be embedded in your past. I will help you to gain greater insight into your life, enabling you to answer questions that may have been running around your head for years.
I have a wide range of lived experience which I draw on in my practice to support clients. My professional experience includes working in a trauma informed way with individuals :
I also have experience of supporting clients stuck in unhelpful patterns of thinking that cause anxiety such as catastrophising, comparison and despair and self-criticism.
I am an integrative therapist and use an number of practical appraoches to help you find peace and undestanding. My basic approach is person centred, psychodynamic but I also draw on mindful self compassion and psycho-educational tools.
I offer individual counselling to adults (18+) in the Bristol area. I work face-to-face and offer both short and long term therapy.
My fee is £30 per 50-minute session
