Life can throw so many different challenges at us. We live in a world that is constantly changing. Often we spend more time at work than with our loved ones. We're facing a Cost of Living Crisis and a Climate Breakdown. If you're feeling worried, disconnected or find yourself struggling then I am here to tell you that this is totally normal!
My approach is warm, thoughtful and down-to-earth. Whatever is going on for you, I offer a safe space where you can feel heard and held. I am here to listen to the experiences which have led you to see me and I do this with compassion, empathy and acceptance.
The focus of my work has been to support those struggling with identity crises, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and feelings of shame and anger. I have special interest in the Neurobiology of Attachment and how we can grow new neural pathways in therapy through new ways of relating and by purely being accepted by anohter human being.
I am committed to inclusive practice and have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced marginalisation. I feel strongly about improving access to counselling for neurodiverse clients and do my best to facilitate a space tailored to the individual needs of my clients.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by its ethical framework, including monthly supervision and continuous learning. I am also part of Bristol's Queer Therapist Network Group.
