Hello, I’m Fuchsia,
I wholeheartedly understand the importance of relationships that provide a safe space for the messy, unchoreographed parts of ourselves to be seen and heard without judgment. I also believe that relationships grounded in respect, trust, empathy, and goodwill are the foundations of successful psychotherapy, and I’ll endeavour to create such a relationship with you.
I get that reaching out for support and sharing your story can be daunting. You will find me to be:
My flexible and person-centred approach allows us to tailor our sessions to what works best for you. Our work together will aid your immediate challenges and help you understand how your past may influence your present. Psychotherapy is not about "fixing" you; it’s about empowering you to understand yourself better, make choices aligned with your values, and live a more fulfilling life.
I have over 20 years of professional experience in compassionate and empowering collaboration with people from all walks of life, including working with mental health issues and the impacts of disadvantage. In recent years, I have been involved in the set-up and delivery of a specialist suicide bereavement service, where I continue to work as a senior practitioner. That said, I can work with a wide range of concerns and welcome inquiries from anyone seeking support.
I currently offer weekly in-person psychotherapy sessions at a reduced rate while I complete my master’s degree. Please feel free to reach out to arrange a session to explore whether you would like to work together.
I look forward to hearing from you!
