Hello, I’m Fuchsia,
I believe in the power of a safe space - one where you can show up as your true self, with all the messy, unfiltered parts, and feel accepted. I’m committed to making sure our work together is built on respect, trust, empathy, and generosity - values I see as essential to meaningful therapy.
I know reaching out for support can feel daunting, but I’m here to make it as easy as possible. In our time together, you can expect me to be:
My Approach
I offer a flexible, person-centred approach to therapy, meaning our sessions will be shaped by what works best for you. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on in your life right now and how past experiences might be impacting your present. My aim is not to ‘fix you’ but to empower you - helping you understand yourself better, make decisions that align with your values, and live a more fulfilling life.
My Background
With over 20 years of experience in community services, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside people from all walks of life. My career has involved extensive mental health work, particularly with those impacted by exclusion and disadvantage. In recent years, I’ve also helped establish a specialist suicide bereavement service, where I continue to serve as a senior practitioner. I've been working as a psychotherapist since 2021.
My Availability & Contact Details
I offer weekly in-person psychotherapy sessions at a reduced rate while I finish my diploma and master’s degree in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. Please reach out if you'd like to arrange a session and see if we’re a good fit!
I look forward to hearing from you,
Fuchsia
