Psychotherapist
I worked in mental health services for 14 years, during which time I developed a speciality in resolving anxiety problems and helping people overcome post-traumatic stress disorder. I have been practising psychotherapy privately since 1999 and am experienced in helping with a wide range of problems. I have a particular interest in death and bereavement, recently broadening this to common anxieties about loss of various kinds. I have recently been gaining experience in working with clients who show features of neurodiversity. The heart of my approach to therapy is humanistic; I believe that we are much more than the sum of our problems. I am also very interested in how our past experiences and what they mean to us affect our current ability to live fully and authentically.
